  • 0.5 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 0.5 cups parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cups pine nuts
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt

Directions

Step 1
Combine the basil leaves, pine nuts, and garlic in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped.

Add the Parmesan cheese and pulse a few times more.

While the food processor is running, slowly add the olive oil in a steady stream until the mixture is smooth.
