A scrumptious and hearty meal, these wet burritos are filled with seasoned ground beef, beans, and cheese, then smothered in a flavorful sauce and baked to perfection. Perfect for a family dinner or gathering.
Directions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 3
Stir in the refried beans, taco seasoning mix, and water. Cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds to make them easier to roll.
Step 5
Spoon about 1/2 cup of the beef and bean mixture down the center of each tortilla. Roll up the tortillas and place them seam-side down in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 6
Pour the enchilada sauce evenly over the top of the burritos, covering them completely.
Step 7
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the sauce.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 9
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Step 10
Garnish with sour cream, shredded lettuce, and diced tomato. Serve immediately.
