  • 1500 g fresh strawberries
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 1 pie crust
  • 200 g sugar
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine sliced strawberries and sugar. Let them sit for about 30 minutes to macerate.

In a medium saucepan, combine cornstarch, lemon juice, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and turns clear.

Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly. Pour the mixture over the macerated strawberries and gently stir to combine.

Pour the strawberry filling into the pre-baked pie crust. Spread it evenly.
