Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 60 g butter
  • 300 ml condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 60 g cornflakes cereal
  • 900 g frozen hash browns
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 240 ml sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, sour cream, condensed cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, melted butter, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 4
Spread the crushed cornflakes cereal evenly over the top of the casserole.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
