  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 115 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 60 ml sour milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g white sugar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 4
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas, sour milk, and vanilla extract.
Step 5
Gradually add the flour mixture to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
Step 6
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Step 8
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
