  • 1500 milliliters beef broth
  • 450 grams beef stew meat
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 150 grams corn
  • 800 grams diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 150 grams green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 150 grams peas
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef and cook until browned on all sides.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion, sliced carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes, until vegetables begin to soften.
Step 3
Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in the potatoes, green beans, corn, and peas.
Step 4
Season with salt, black pepper, dried basil, and dried oregano. Bring the soup to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for about 1 hour, or until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
