  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 480 ml chicken broth
  • 200 grams cooked chicken
  • 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 240 ml milk
  • 0.5 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for about 1-2 minutes.

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth until the mixture is smooth.
Step 4
Slowly add the milk, continuing to whisk until well combined.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the cooked, shredded chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
