Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Reserve 1 tablespoon of the bacon fat in the skillet.

Add the diced onions to the skillet and cook until they are translucent, about 10 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Crumble the cooked bacon and return it to the skillet. Add the brown sugar, brewed coffee, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
