  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large pot, place the sliced sweet potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes or until just tender. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, water, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
