  • 150 g salt
  • 4 l water

Place the peanuts in a large pot and add enough water to completely cover them.

Add salt to the pot and stir to dissolve.

Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Reduce the heat to maintain a steady simmer and cook for 2-3 hours, or until the peanuts are soft.

Check the water level occasionally and add more water if necessary to keep the peanuts submerged.
