Ingredients

  • 2 bok choy
  • 1000 ml chicken broth
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 green onions
  • 200 g ground pork
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 100 g shrimp
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 tsp white pepper
  • 20 wonton wrappers

Directions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and chopped green onions. Mix well to combine.
Step 2
Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold to seal the wonton.
Step 3
In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the bok choy and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Gently add the wontons to the boiling broth and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
Step 5
Season the soup with salt and white pepper. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
