  • 50 grams lettuce
  • 240 grams masa harina
  • 100 grams queso fresco
  • 240 grams refried beans
  • 120 grams salsa
  • 5 grams salt
  • 120 grams sour cream
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 360 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the masa harina, water, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each into a ball.

Flatten each ball into a thick disk using your hands or a tortilla press.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Cook each disk in the skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the sopes from the skillet and let them cool slightly.

Pinch the edges of each sope to create a small rim.
