  • 5 g baking powder
  • 5 g baking soda
  • 165 g brown sugar
  • 115 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 190 g flour
  • 240 g peanut butter
  • 2 g salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Step 6
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
Step 7
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
