Ingredients

  • 480 ml beef broth
  • 2 g black pepper
  • 60 g butter
  • 30 g flour
  • 2 onions
  • 5 g salt
  • 10 g sugar
  • 15 ml Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the sliced onions and sugar, and cook until the onions are golden and caramelized, about 15 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in the flour and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Gradually whisk in the beef broth, making sure there are no lumps.
Step 5
Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper, and simmer until the gravy thickens, about 10 minutes.
