  • 60 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 60 ml Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp ground cloves
  • 4.5 kg ham
  • 240 ml honey

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 165°C (325°F).
Step 2
Place the ham in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix together the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and ground cloves.
Step 4
Brush half of the glaze over the ham, making sure to get it into the scored lines.
Step 5
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours, basting occasionally with the pan juices.
Step 6
Remove the foil and brush the remaining glaze over the ham.
Step 7
Increase the oven temperature to 190°C (375°F) and bake for an additional 30 minutes, until the glaze is caramelized and the ham is heated through.
Step 8
Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
