  • 1 avocado
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 nori sheets
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 300 g sushi rice
  • 1 tsp wasabi

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 2
Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions.
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
Step 4
Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and gently fold in the vinegar mixture. Let it cool to room temperature.
Step 5
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat, shiny side down.
Step 6
Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a 2cm border at the top edge.
Step 7
Arrange cucumber, carrot, avocado, and smoked salmon in a line across the center of the rice.
Step 8
Drizzle with soy sauce and add a small amount of wasabi.
Step 9
Using the bamboo mat, carefully roll the nori over the fillings, pressing gently to form a tight roll.
Step 10
Slice the sushi burrito in half and serve immediately.
