Directions

Chill the mixing bowl and beaters in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

Pour the heavy cream into the chilled bowl.

Beat the cream on medium speed until it begins to thicken.

Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
Step 5
Continue to beat until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat.
