  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 5 g chili powder
  • 10 g garam masala
  • 5 g ground coriander
  • 5 g ground cumin
  • 5 g ground turmeric
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 15 g minced garlic
  • 15 g minced ginger
  • 240 ml plain yogurt
  • 10 g salt
  • 30 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, chili powder, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and vegetable oil.

Make slits in the chicken drumsticks and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Ensure the marinade gets into the slits.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to infuse.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the marinated chicken drumsticks for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and charred around the edges.
