Ingredients

  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 60 ml cold water
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 60 ml honey
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the cold water until smooth.

Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan, stirring constantly.

Continue to cook and stir until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
