Ingredients

  • 100 g bean sprouts
  • 1 carrot
  • 240 ml chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 200 g shrimp
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 60 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the shrimp, bean sprouts, onion, green bell pepper, carrot, and 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
Step 2
Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Step 3
Pour about 1/4 of the egg mixture into the pan, spreading it into a round shape.
Step 4
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until the patty is golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining egg mixture.
Step 5
In a small saucepan, combine the chicken broth, remaining soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch mixed with water. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
Step 6
Serve the egg patties hot, topped with the gravy.
