  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cucumber
  • 200 g imitation crab sticks
  • 4 sheets nori
  • 60 ml rice vinegar
  • 10 g salt
  • 20 g sesame seeds
  • 30 g sugar
  • 300 g sushi rice

Directions

Step 1
Rinse and cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Pour this mixture over the cooked rice and mix well. Let the rice cool.
Step 3
Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat, shiny side down.
Step 4
Wet your hands and take a handful of cooled sushi rice. Spread it evenly over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
Step 5
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the rice.
Step 6
Flip the nori sheet so the rice side is down.
Step 7
Place a few pieces of imitation crab, avocado slices, and cucumber strips in a line along the bottom edge of the nori.
Step 8
Carefully roll the sushi mat, applying gentle pressure to form a tight roll. Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into 6-8 pieces.
Step 9
Serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi if desired.
