  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 0 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk

Directions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.

Whisk the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
Step 4
Every 30 minutes, remove the dish from the freezer and stir the mixture vigorously with a fork or whisk to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this process for about 2-3 hours, or until the ice cream is fully frozen and creamy.
Step 5
Once the ice cream is fully frozen, transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the freezer until ready to serve.
