Chicken, Broccoli, and Cheddar Bake

  • 50 grams bread crumbs
  • 500 grams broccoli
  • 30 grams butter
  • 250 grams cheddar cheese
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts
  • 300 grams cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 15 milliliters lemon juice
  • 120 milliliters mayonnaise

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
Step 2
Boil or steam broccoli until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
Cook chicken breasts until no longer pink in the center, about 20 minutes. Shred the chicken and set aside.
Step 4
In a large bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and curry powder.

Add shredded chicken and broccoli to the mixture and stir until well combined.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 7
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Step 8
In a small bowl, mix together bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over the cheese layer.
Step 9
Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
