  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder for sauce
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 pita bread
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60 ml white vinegar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, finely chopped onion, 1 tsp garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

While the meat is baking, prepare the donair sauce. In a medium bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, white vinegar, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Stir until smooth and refrigerate until ready to use.

Once the meat is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.

Assemble the donairs by placing sliced meat onto the warm pita bread and drizzling with donair sauce. Add any additional toppings as desired.
Step 9
Serve immediately and enjoy!
