A traditional Brazilian snack, these cheese breads are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Perfect for breakfast or as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 egg
  • 120 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 260 g tapioca flour
  • 60 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
Step 2
In a saucepan, combine the milk, vegetable oil, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Remove from heat and slowly add the tapioca flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
Step 4
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Step 5
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully combined.
Step 6
Scoop the batter into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden.
