  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 500 ml milk
  • 60 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 250 grams pasta
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Sprinkle in the flour and stir to combine, cooking for another minute to remove the raw flour taste.

Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
