  • 240 ml beef broth
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 400 g diced tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 400 g kidney beans
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned.
Step 5
Stir in the chopped bell pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
Step 7
Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 8
Reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary before serving.
