Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 4 egg whites
  • 200 grams fresh fruits
  • 200 grams granulated sugar
  • 250 milliliters heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
Step 3
Gradually add the granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition until the meringue is glossy and stiff peaks form.
Step 4
Fold in the cornstarch, white vinegar, and vanilla extract gently.
Step 5
Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a circle about 20 cm in diameter. Create a slight dip in the center for the filling.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, then turn off the oven and let the pavlova cool completely inside the oven with the door slightly ajar.
Step 7
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
Step 8
Carefully transfer the cooled pavlova to a serving plate. Top with whipped cream and fresh fruits before serving.
