Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, sauté the squash and onion in butter until tender.

In a large bowl, combine the cracker crumbs and cheese. Stir half of the cracker mixture into the cooked squash and onions.

In a small bowl, mix together the milk and egg, then add to the squash mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour the mixture into a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cracker mixture on top.
