  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 2
In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the salt.

Stir in the rice, cover, and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
