  • 900 g beef sirloin tip
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 5 g garlic powder
  • 5 g ground black pepper
  • 30 ml honey
  • 15 ml liquid smoke
  • 5 g meat tenderizer
  • 5 g onion powder
  • 5 g paprika
  • 240 ml soy sauce
  • 240 ml Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, black pepper, meat tenderizer, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and honey. Mix well to combine.

Place the thinly sliced beef into the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Preheat the oven to 70°C (160°F). Line baking sheets with aluminum foil and place wire racks on top.

Arrange the marinated beef slices in a single layer on the wire racks, making sure they do not overlap.
Step 5
Dry the beef in the preheated oven until the jerky is dry and leathery, about 4 to 6 hours. Flip the jerky pieces once halfway through the drying time.

Once done, let the jerky cool completely before storing it in an airtight container.
