  • 450 g all-purpose flour
  • 7 g salt
  • 360 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast.

Add water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest at room temperature for 12-18 hours.

Preheat your oven to 230°C (450°F) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.

Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven and place the dough inside.
Step 7
Cover the Dutch oven with its lid and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the bread is golden brown.
Step 9
Remove the bread from the Dutch oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
