  • 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 5 g baking powder
  • 500 g blackberries
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 g salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 115 g unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, combine the blackberries and half of the sugar. Stir well and set aside.

In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining sugar.

Add the milk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Step 5
Pour the melted butter into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
Step 6
Pour the batter over the melted butter, but do not stir.
Step 7
Spoon the blackberry mixture over the batter, distributing evenly.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
