Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Blanch the cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until soft. Remove and set aside.

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, sautéed onion and garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.

Place a heaping tablespoon of the beef mixture onto each cabbage leaf. Roll up, tucking in the sides to secure the filling.

Pour a small amount of tomato sauce into a baking dish to cover the bottom. Place the cabbage rolls seam-side down in the dish.

Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the cabbage rolls. Cover the dish with foil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 60 minutes until the rolls are cooked through and tender.
