This easy lasagna recipe is perfect for a hearty family meal. Layers of pasta, meat sauce, and a creamy cheese mixture come together to create a comforting and delicious dish.

Step 1
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Step 2
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
In a large skillet, cook ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and 200g of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place 3 lasagna noodles on top.

Spread one-third of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles. Top with one-third of the meat sauce. Sprinkle with 50g of grated parmesan cheese.
Step 8
Repeat layers twice, ending with a final layer of meat sauce and remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Step 9
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

Let lasagna stand for 10 minutes before serving.
