Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cans green chili
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cans white beans

Directions

Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion becomes translucent.
Step 3
Stir in the chopped green chiles, white beans, chicken broth, ground cumin, oregano, ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the sour cream and heavy cream until well combined.
Step 5
Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, cilantro, or sliced jalapeños.
