  • 60 ml ketchup
  • 100 ml pineapple juice
  • 60 ml rice vinegar
  • 15 ml soy sauce
  • 50 g sugar
  • 50 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine pineapple juice, rice vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir well to mix.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.

In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in water to make a slurry.

Gradually add the cornstarch slurry to the boiling sauce, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
