Ingredients

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 800 g diced tomatoes
  • 250 g elbow macaroni
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 900 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 30 ml soy sauce
  • 425 g tomato sauce
  • 475 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
Step 4
Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to the pot. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
Step 5
Remove the bay leaves before serving. Serve the goulash hot and enjoy!
