  • 150 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 500 grams potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Boil the potatoes in their skins until tender.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and mash them until smooth.

Let the mashed potatoes cool slightly, then mix in the flour, egg, and salt.

Knead the mixture until it forms a dough, then roll it into long ropes about 1 cm thick.

Cut the ropes into 2 cm pieces and shape each piece into a gnocchi by rolling it over the tines of a fork.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the gnocchi in batches.

Cook the gnocchi until they float to the surface, then remove them with a slotted spoon.
