Ingredients

  • 250 ml beef broth
  • 400 g black beans
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 800 g diced tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 400 g kidney beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker.
Step 4
Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and beef broth to the slow cooker.
Step 5
Stir all ingredients until well combined.
Step 6
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Step 7
