  • 225 g cream cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 480 g powdered sugar
  • 115 g unsalted butter
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 432 g yellow cake mix

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 2 eggs. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Step 3
In another large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining 2 eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Step 4
Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture, beating until fully incorporated.
Step 5
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the baking dish and spread evenly.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey.
Step 7
Allow the cake to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into squares and serving.
