  • 50 g butter
  • 600 g corn kernels
  • 15 g flour
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 240 ml milk
  • 5 g salt
  • 30 g sugar

Directions

Step 1
In a large pot, combine the corn kernels, heavy cream, milk, butter, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
Step 2
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk the flour with a few tablespoons of the mixture to create a slurry.
Step 5
Slowly add the slurry back into the pot, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Step 6
Continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
Step 7
Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
