Ingredients

  • 10 grams basil
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 800 grams crushed tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 240 milliliters heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 60 grams parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 120 milliliters vodka

Directions

Step 1
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Step 4
Add the crushed tomatoes and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Step 5
Pour in the vodka and cook until the liquid is reduced by half, about 7-10 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and cook until the sauce is well combined and heated through.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
