  • 115 g butter
  • 120 g chopped pecans
  • 3 eggs
  • 360 ml evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 425 g pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 515 g yellow cake mix

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Mix until well blended.

Pour the pumpkin mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
Step 5
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
Step 6
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the buttered cake mix, if using.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
