  • 200 ml caramel sauce
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 397 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 120 g toffee bits
  • 120 ml vegetable oil
  • 240 ml water
  • 480 ml whipped topping

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake according to the package instructions, about 30-35 minutes.

Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Poke holes all over the cake using a fork or the handle of a wooden spoon.

Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, making sure it seeps into the holes. Then, pour the caramel sauce over the cake.

Allow the cake to cool completely, then spread the whipped topping evenly over the top.

Sprinkle the toffee bits over the whipped topping.
