Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 400 g diced tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 400 g kidney beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g tomato sauce
  • 240 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Step 2
Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped bell pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until vegetables are soft.
Step 3
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and water.
Step 4
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
