Ingredients

  • 250 ml beef broth
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 carrot
  • 150 g corn
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 125 ml milk
  • 1 onion
  • 150 g peas
  • 900 g potato
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
Step 3
While the potatoes are cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Add onion, carrots, and garlic to the skillet and cook until vegetables are tender.
Step 5
Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, peas, and corn. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Drain the potatoes and mash with butter and milk until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Spread the meat mixture evenly in a baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes, spreading them to cover the meat completely.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, about 20 minutes.

Let the Shepherd's Pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
