  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions

Step 1
In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the onions and garlic.
Step 4
Season the cabbage with salt, pepper, paprika, and sugar. Stir to coat the cabbage evenly with the spices.
Step 5
Add the cooked bacon back into the skillet and stir to combine.
Step 6
Add the butter to the skillet and continue to cook the cabbage mixture over medium heat until the cabbage is tender, about 10-15 minutes.
