A delicious Reuben sandwich made with layers of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing, grilled to perfection on rye bread.
Directions
Step 1
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Step 2
Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
Step 3
Place 4 slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
Step 4
Layer each slice with 2 slices of Swiss cheese, 112 grams of corned beef, 1/4 cup of sauerkraut, and 2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing.
Step 5
Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
Step 6
Grill the sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Step 7
Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
