Ingredients

  • 200 g bean sprouts
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 450 g chicken breast
  • 240 ml chicken broth
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 30 ml oyster sauce
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine chicken with 30ml soy sauce, 15ml sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add chicken to the pan and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
Step 4
In the same pan, add garlic and onion. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add bell pepper, carrot, celery, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Step 6
Return the chicken to the pan. Add bean sprouts, chicken broth, remaining soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir well to combine.
Step 7
Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly and everything is heated through.
Step 8
Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
